Care that adapts to the animal, not the protocol
Each service is designed to address real needs, not check boxes on a template.
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all approaches. These services represent our core offerings, but how we apply them depends entirely on who we're working with. Think of them as starting points for conversation, not rigid packages.
Behavioral wellness consultations
Problematic behaviors are usually symptoms, not the actual problem. We investigate what's driving the behavior before attempting to change it. This means examining daily routines, environmental stressors, social dynamics, and physical health factors that might be contributing.
Sessions include detailed observation, behavioral history analysis, and creation of a customized management plan you can actually implement in your real life.
Integrative health assessments
Standard veterinary checkups focus on acute problems. We look at the whole picture: nutritional status, stress indicators, environmental factors, activity levels, and biological markers together.
This comprehensive approach often reveals underlying issues before they become serious problems. You receive a detailed assessment report with prioritized recommendations and clear reasoning behind each suggestion.
Nutritional therapy planning
Most commercial diets are designed for convenience and shelf stability, not optimal health. We create species-appropriate nutrition plans that consider your animal's current health status, activity level, life stage, and any existing conditions.
Plans are practical and realistic. We account for your budget, available time, and local ingredient access. No idealistic recommendations that you'll abandon in two weeks.
Senior companion care programs
Aging changes everything. Comfort requirements, dietary needs, exercise capacity, and mental stimulation all need adjustment. Our senior programs provide ongoing support through these transitions.
Monthly check-ins allow us to catch subtle changes early and adjust care strategies as needed. The goal is maintaining quality of life and dignity, not just extending lifespan.
Preventive wellness strategies
The best medical intervention is the one you never need. These programs focus on maintaining health through lifestyle optimization, early detection protocols, and proactive management of age-appropriate risk factors.
Quarterly consultations track trends over time, allowing us to identify subtle changes that might indicate emerging issues. Prevention is always easier and less expensive than treatment.
Environmental enrichment design
Boredom and understimulation cause more behavioral problems than most people realize. We assess your animal's cognitive and physical needs, then design enrichment strategies that fit your space and schedule.
This isn't about buying expensive toys. It's about understanding what your animal actually needs mentally and physically, then creating sustainable ways to meet those needs.
How we structure our work
First consultations are longer than you're probably used to. We need real context, not rushed snapshots. Follow-up sessions adjust based on what's actually working, not what should theoretically work.
Prices listed include our time and expertise, but not additional diagnostics or treatments if needed. We discuss all costs upfront. No surprises.
What's not included here
If you need emergency care, surgical intervention, or acute medical treatment, you'll need a traditional veterinary practice. We're not set up for that, and we'll refer you to colleagues who are.
What we do is different: long-term wellness strategy, behavioral intervention, preventive care, and integrative approaches that complement conventional treatment. Sometimes that's exactly what's needed. Sometimes it's not.
We're honest about our scope because wasting your time helps nobody.
